I designed this carrier a couple summers ago when I was looking for a convenient way to take my (deflated) floatie to the lake via bicycle. You could use these “blanket straps” to carry many different items on a picnic/hike/camping or to the beach/lake - from your floatie or picnic blanket, to a beach towel (or a couple beach towels if you roll them together), a sleeping bag, or even a yoga mat!
The straps are hand carved and tooled with the following woodland creatures: bald eagles, black bears, white-tailed deer, rabbits, owls, coyotes, woodpeckers, porcupines, moose, finches, groundhogs, and squirrels, with a friendly skunk as the main picture.
The leather is bark-tanned, handmade in small batches and sourced and brought home personally from Chiapas, Mexico (for more information please visit About Leather).
Add on option: To carry these straps hands free you can purchase an adjustable crossbody/shoulder strap which you can clip on and off the main straps.
